Biscuit pudding

My friend in Nakuru is a master of dessert recipes; this is another one from her kitchen in Kenya.

Biscuit pudding

Ingredients

  • 14oz digestive biscuits
  • 5 tbs sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups chopped cashews, walnuts and almonds
  • 1 cup chopped nutty chocolate
  • 2 cups cold custard
  • 10oz double cream whipped lightly with 2 tbs sugar

Instructions

Sandwich biscuits with condensed milk, beak into bite-sized pieces and place in a large clear serving bowl.

Top with half the custard and half the cream; sprinkle half the nuts and half the chocolate.

Repeat another layer as above, refrigerate for 4 - 6 hours.

Serve chilled it is truly yummy!
