This is a lovely chaat made either with cassava (mogo) or boiled potatoes and brought together with tamarind chutney.
Cassava/Potato chaat

- 1lb frozen cassava/yucca or 1lb potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil for deep frying
- 4oz readymade chevda or sev mumra
- 1 cup tamarind chutney
- 2oz finely sliced white/red/spring onions
- 2 tbs sliced fresh green coriander
Instructions

Boil the potatoes or cassava until cooked through.

Cool and cut into 1inch cubes, deep fry until brown and remove into a serving dish (use boiled for healthy option).

Add the tamarind sauce, mix once and add the chevda or sev mamra.

Sprinkle the onions and coriander.

Serve warm.
